So, which are the best universities in Italy, and which universities can you apply to? First of all, I would say in answer to this question that wherever you have done your bachelor’s from, you should think that if you are applying from Pakistan. Yes, there are all the universities in Italy, which are very good universities, and all of them have very good rankings.

If you talk about the best, you are limited. Many people say that they will apply to Bologna, Sapienza, Milan, Pisa, and other universities because these are the top-ranked universities. We will not apply other than these. If your percentage is low or you do not meet their criteria and do not apply to other universities, then your job is done automatically. Why are you limiting yourself?

Expand your horizons. Apply to maximum universities, and your chances will also increase. Similarly, do not limit yourself. Keep more than one option with you. Many people do this. They think that they will apply only for Italy and not apply anywhere else except European countries.

If you have thought that you have to leave Pakistan for studies, I have repeatedly mentioned in previous blogs that if you leave Pakistan, then you should leave for studies. If you leave without studies or just think that you will leave and then get money, whatever happens to you will not be seen.

So I would suggest that if you come to study and come with good preparation, then spread your scope and your coverage. Apply in Asian countries. If you do your master’s from there, then you can apply for a PhD and go to very good countries.

Applying for Universities

Many people apply for Italy because only the bank statement is required, and its proof has to be shown. The scene in Germany is that the amount is blocked, and you have to invest Rs 30-35 lakh for a year. So those who cannot arrange a blocked account can apply for Italy.

Now I don’t have the option, so I can do anything else except applying. If you have decided to apply, then where do you start? You have to write “Top Universities in Italy” or “Universities in Italy,” then a lot of lists will come to you, and all you have to do is note down the details of those universities.

Here’s one more thing: you should have the IELTS. If you have IELTS, your scope will be broader. With IELTS, there are 50 universities. Out of 50, 40 have a requirement that you cannot apply without IELTS. I am not talking about visas for admission; you can apply for 40. Remove them, and now after 40, you are left with 10 universities.

Now out of 10 universities, you are not meeting the criteria of three universities. For the remaining three, your GPA is low, so how many will you be left with? You should also do exams if your GPA is low. If you have certifications or work experience, attach whatever you have, and your profile becomes stronger.

So what will you have to do for this? The list of universities has come to you. All you have to do is that every university has its program website. Click on the website of the university; from there, there are different programs. Now there are many engineering programs too.

Whatever program you are on, go to its website, and you will get the details. All the details will be explained there, what should be your GPA, what are the prerequisites, and which courses you studied in your bachelor’s.

What I studied in my bachelor’s was only Physics. On the basis of Physics, I could apply in Theoretical Physics, Material Physics, Condensed Matter Physics, and Nuclear Physics. Similarly, if you read the website of your program in detail, you will know in which one you can apply.

Then you have noted down the list of universities and checked the requirements of all. After that, check whether you fully meet their criteria. Then, you have to check when the admissions of these universities open. Write down when the admissions of the universities open. You have to upload your documents, fill in your application form, and submit it.

Recommendations for Applications

Let me tell you the list of universities in Italy among the top universities. I do not recommend you to apply just to the top universities. Every person wants to go to a good place. Apply to the top universities but do not limit yourself to just the top. Along with this, apply to other universities as well.

Start from those universities that do not have an application fee. Apply to all those universities that do not have an application fee. Wait a little; if your admission is done, it is good. If it is not, then go towards those universities that have application fees. This means that your one chance is over. If you come to the free ones, then maybe you will get a chance in the ones that have fees. Keep these two things in your mind.

From the list of universities that are open in front of me, the top university is the University of Bologna, then Sapienza, Padua, Milan, Pisa, Naples, Turin, Florence, Trento, and Polytechnic di Milan. There are many universities; it is not that you will not get it. You just have to do a little hard work and learn to do it.
